Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rubus idaeus 'Autumn Bliss' is a deciduous, cold hardy, reliable and disease resistant everbearing raspberry. Expect white blossoms in spring. Fruit ripens from late summer until first frost on current year's wood and on old wood earlier in the season. Fruit is dark red, medium-sized, sweet and aromatic. Canes are short, sturdy and spiny with little need of support. Provide organic-rich soil, moist but well-drained in full sun to part shade. Yield will be higher in full sun. Enjoy fresh, frozen, canned and baked. Attracts bees.
A bridge between summer & fall bearers, this ever-bearing red raspberry produces its large pleasantly-flavored berries in August; an erect plant (needing little support) with a high yield of berries.
