(Also known as Farfugium japonica 'Cristata') Rare, sought after crested form of Leopard Plant –ruffled, round leaves are covered with hairs, giving the plant an incredible texture! 20” high x 24” wide mound – weird yellow daisy flowers, summer – Part sun to part shade, moist soils – nice in a woodland, choice in an Asian theme…specimen in a pot! Large leathery leaves, Yellow flowers.
Gray-green undulating leaves look kind of like parsley crossed with seaweed. Yellow flower clusters above the foliage in fall. Forms a dense clump with upright arching foliage to one to two feet tall. Use beside pools or bogs. Excellent plant to use as a mass in front of a tall bed or in the back of a small bed. Use also as a specimen or in a large container with other plants.
If men are from Mars, this plant's from Pluto! with its wild, crested fans of grey foliage highlighted in pink... always sure to bring comment! PSh/Med
An evergreen daisy that has the same deep golden yellow flowers as ligularia dentata. The dark green leaves are very dark green and waxy.
