Fast growing suckering shrub or tree from Japan and Asia with attractive, velvety lobed foliage used to make paper or Tapa cloth. Our thicket is about 30’ tall and 20’ wide after 20 years. Drought tolerant, deer resistant. It has a nice architectural and textural appearance.
