Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Also known as the pasture rose this wonderful eastern U.S. native is found growing in dry to wet conditions; open woods, prairies, streambanks and swamps. Among the most adaptable, this beautiful 3-6' rose is well-suited to most gardens. Single, clear-pink, fragrant flowers in May are followed by bright-red fruits early in the fall. This specimen has pretty yellow-orange-red autumn color too. S/M-W
