    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rare in cultivation and that is too bad! This lovely and very tall (50-150') tree from western China features long, deep-green needles with silvery undersides and mature specimens can reach up to 8 feet in diameter with dark-grey bark that splits into long folds. This is a wonderful tree for large gardens or parks. S-PSh/M
