    Delosperma floribundum 'Starburst' is an evergreen groundcover cactus / succulent with green foliage. In fall, spring and summer flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in acidic, alkaline, average, clay, gritty and well-drained soil.

    Perfectly round two inch wide hot pink flowers with frosty white centres burst into colour in early summer and continue right through fall. Ice plants are long-blooming and carefree succulent mat-forming perennials similar to sedums that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil or in the rainshadow of a house or other structure. Great in containers. Deer resistant.
