Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Zn 6. Purple flowers / white eye. Evergreen.
Perfectly round two inch wide hot pink flowers with frosty white centres burst into colour in early summer and continue right through fall. Ice plants are long-blooming and carefree succulent mat-forming perennials similar to sedums that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil or in the rainshadow of a house or other structure. Great in containers. Deer resistant.
This clumping ice plant produces a dome of bright pink flowers with white centers. The texture of the petals is shimmering - almost like metal. It starts blooming in June, and continues until fall. Like the purple and yellow ice plants, it promises to be an essential small scale groundcover or edging for the border. Perennial. Xeriscape. Easy in average garden soil. USDA zones 4a-9 (up to 8,000').
Bright pink, white-eyed flowers seem to shimmer like silk or metal in domed clusters atop this clumping 4"x 10" spreader from early summer 'til fall... a sparkling new small-scale groundcover/edger. Sun/Med-Dry/GoodDrainaige
