    Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' is a deciduous perennial grass (or grassy in appearance) with gold, green and variegated foliage. In fall and summer tan flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - regular water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant, pollution tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    Zebra grass, large arching foliage, with yellow horizontal bands on the wide leaves; yellow banding does not show until early summer. The pinkish copper plumes appear in autumn become fluffy as they mature. Like all the rest it is slow to come out of dormancy in the spring, don't yank em as dead, also they seem to winter best if the foliage is left up all winter. ZONE 5
