Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This unique, open 6-25' shrub/tree is native to our eastern United States swamps. Unusual, small, yellow powder-puff, petal-less flowers are followed (on pollinated female plants) by 1" purplish fruits much loved by wild ducks. Very unlike its better known relative, the Desert Olive, which is adapted to dry areas! Our plants are unsexed seedlings. S/M-W
