Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Its name translated means 'of elegant habit', a worthy description for this very rare 20-40' maple from eastern China with its interesting papery-thin leaves featuring five long-lobes, the leaves emerge a gorgeous coppery-pink before aging to lush-green and they turn glorious shades of yellow-orange in the autumn, the unusual bark is bright-green; can tolerate heat well, but does need some afternoon shade in hot areas.
