Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Coriacei-folius?: ?with leathery leaves? goes a long way towards describing this very rare 20-30' maple with its 3-5" oblong, unlobed leaves. S-PSh/M
The Yunnan Maple is a rare evergreen maple with rich glossy green, ovate-oblong to lanceolate, drooping foliage that grows into a small to medium sized evergreen tree commonly reaching 20-30' high and may reach 45-50' high in time. The bark is a dark blackish grey to blackish brown on mature specimens. A hard to find and beautiful landscape specimen. We have to say thank you to Dr. Creech and the good people at Stephen F. Austin University for sharing this species with us!
