Lonicera ferdinandii is a broadleaf deciduous shrub with green foliage. In summer yellow flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Attracts birds and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular water. Does well in well-drained soil.
Remarkably distinct, this robust 6-10' (and as wide) Mongolian species is free both with its pairs of small yellow flowers and its twinned bright-red fruit; hardy and easy, as well as pretty, for wildlife hedgerow or specimen. S/M
