Niveum' has lovely white flowers and bronze-tinged foliage in spring and fall. This hybrid is thought to have happened in the wild between E. diphyllum and E. grandiflorum. Epimediums are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, are highly drought tolerant. They can be used as effective groundcovers or shade garden accents. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters.
Illuminated by a sprightly, overhead display of starry, pure white flowers, the emerging henna-hued leaves grow into a compact mass that stays tidy all season. Smaller sized, handsome pointed leaflets have toothed margins and impart scarlet and crimson colors for a lambent fall finale.

This low growing epimedium has copius amount of white flowers in the spring. E.y 'Niveum' will slowly make a lacy ground cover for small areas.
