The burgundy center of these golden-yellow butterfly-magnets bleeds along the veins all the way to the petal tips. The blooms are lovely perched atop 2' thread-leaved stems. This cultivar is beautiful and hardy; found by Patti Bauer in Lucinda, PA. A must for the butterfly garden! S/M PPAF
What a great genus! This one has tall upright stems 24-30” topped June Sept with bright yellow daisy shaped flowers with a distinct red eye. Very showy plants are butterfly magnets and deer resistant. Will grow even in dry rocky soils – full sun, will take moderate watering. Must have in the cottage garden, loves the coast, low maintenance, easy and well behaved.
