Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Large flowers of take-your-breath-away violet-blue flowers are complemented on their 20" stalks by large leaves subtly decorated with a lime-green border (not really gold!, but a perfect complement); protect from freeze. S/M/GDr
An erect, spreading perennial. The tall, straight, suckering stems, are clothed in bright green, heart shaped leaves, broadly margined in yellow. We have noticed During the warmer months it bears long spikes of blue, hooded, tubular flowers.Cut back to ground level stems that have finished flowering.Needs a little more wind protection than the plain leaved forms.
