Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This classic old Bourbon Rose was named for the Chateau de Malmaison where Empress Josephine had created a splendid rose garden. Large and strongly tea-rose fragrant flowers in clusters are a lovely soft pink and they repeat bloom! This is the climbing version of this rose, reaching 12', perfect for a small arbor. The dense blooms are susceptible to rot in summer rains, so shelter is advisable. S/M
