Stokesia laevis 'Klaus Jellito' is a broadleaf deciduous or semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In fall, spring and summer lavender and pink flowers emerge. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and even moisture - regular water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in acidic, average, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Huge bluish purple cornflower-like daisies are born in spring to early summer on this durable and reliable US native perennial. Klaus Jiletto has some of the largest flowers of any Stokesia Daisy cultivar. This is a highly recommended clump forming native perennial and it's easy to see why with moderate drought resistance, few pest or disease problems, deer and rabbit resistance and it revels in the heat and sun of our southern summers. Plants readily multiply into dense clumps. Super easy and tough.
