A beautiful bush lupine with violet flowers from Marin County, sometimes know by the synonym L. propinquus. It makes a silvery dense shrub 4' high & spreading to 6'. It makes a fine show with other spring blooming plants like Ceanothus & Ribes. It needs full sun & good drainage. Although it is from the coast, it is quite adaptable to inland gardens.
