Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This male (seedless) selection of a fine, fast-growing, very hardy, shade tree has more of an upright vase shape to 40' tall x 35' wide rather than being wide-spreading and also has a better branching habit; green flowers in May are not particularly showy, bright-green compound leaves turn rich yellow in fall and the gorgeous cork bark is lovely especially in winter when it can really shine; a fine hybrid introduced by H. Pellett, University of Minnesota. S/M
