Veronica incana 'Pure Silver' is an intriguing addition for the perennial border offering the lovely spires of royal purple flowers that we love from the speedwells but with gorgeous silver foliage that provides interest long before the summer flowering and then, during flowering, provides a striking foil to the dark, luscious flowers. Plant in hot, dry spots with well-drained or gravely soils. Requires excellent winter drainage.

An Intrinsic Introduction! Selected for vigor and longevity in the garden. Typically this species requires sharp drainage but this selection is more adaptable to heavy soil and moist conditions. Silvered foliage on 12" + clumps topped by numerous 15" spikes on vivid sky blue flowers in July. Full sun; well drained soil is ideal.
