Does well in average, lean and well-drained soil.

    My FAVORITE Aster! This ‘Heath Aster’ has horizontal stems, only 4” tall and spreading across the ground to about 2’ eventually. The Sept Oct bloom is INCREDIBLE when the bright white tiny flowers blanket the plants – everyone stops to admire them! Easy in full sun, not fussy about soil, average water to dryish; attracts bees and butterflies as well as customers! USDA Z3-9

    An Intrinisc Introduction! Selected along the railroad tracks in Glenview on the way home from The Farmer's Market. Billowing mounds grow 2' + and are covered with white flowers in October. Needle like foliage. Full sun, well drained soil.
