It blooms silky white with a boss of purple-pink stamens in late spring followed by more flowers through summer and into fall. In our landscape it has blooms on it for 6 months of the year! Flowers are up to 8 inches across! One of the few clematis developed in the US, it has been lost to the trade for many years. Hill, USA 1958.
