    It is a showy double bloomer at its best. In late spring on the previous season's wood robust multiple layer flowers of light pink and violet will appear. The first flowers can be a lovely mass of puffy light pink sepals from the stamens out. The second flowers that appear in the summer are single with large ruffled sepals.
