Clematis Kaaru has four pink petals around a boss of white and maroon stamens. The petals are wavy and round on the outer edges of the flower making it look soft and puffy. Clematis Kaaru is a seedling from the Hagley Hybrid. Kaaru is mentioned in the Estonian nursery rhyme series by Uno Kivistik. Flower color: pinkish purple. Blooms midsummer to early fall.
