This excellent new selection from Weeks Roses is very much like its famous Fourth of July but in shades of purple in place of red. The clusters of blooms are better formed and each flower is larger than its cousin. It also has fewer thorns and a pleasant apple fragrance. Makes us wonder if it will be another AARS Award Winner like Fourth of July! Purple Splash is vigorous and a repeat bloomer starting with the year of its planting! The blooms are mostly single and come in lovely clusters. Purple Splash has strong disease resistance. Bloom Season: spring to fall. Scent: Sweet. Flower Color: pinkish purple and white stripes.
