Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Clematis Cicciolina produces four to six petal flowers of white and pinkish red. If I had the privilege of naming this little flower I would call it Curly Sue because of its delicately curled and ruffled petal tips. The blushing margins of the petals is where the stronger curl appears. This lovely vine will do well roaming into small trees and large shrubs or trained along a trellis. Flower color: deep pinkish red. Blooms midsummer to early fall.
