This excellent eastern North American native is the most common wild rose. Of ornamental interest every season of the year, this 3-6' shrub has medium-pink flowers, brilliant orange to scarlet fall color and small shiny-red fruits. So loved for the garden, it has earned the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. S/M
A hardy and very disease resistant with bright pink, fragrant flowers in early summer. The blooms are followed by large hips that can persist well into winter. Fall foliage is colorful and the prickles have a nice reddish tone in winter for even more seasonal interest. Scent: Light, Sweet. Class: Wild Climber. Origin: East US.
