Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Though small, the elegant little nodding bells, white flushed violet, are produced by this vigorous (10-20?) vine in great profusion during a long late summer season; prune hard in spring for best results. S-PSh/M
Very pale blue, one-inch, pendent flowers with reflexed petals bloom from midsummer to fall on 12 to 20 ft vines. Tops of the bell petals are painted a little darker blue-lavender. On a mature vine, as many as 100 bells might bloom simultaneously. This lovely bevy of blooms hails from Portugal and SW Spain. Deciduous. Minimum temperature: -30 °F
Has lots of charming bell-shaped, pale blue flowers, 1" across, followed by dark brown seed heads. Finely divided foliage is shiny dark green.
Clematis campaniflora is a relative of viticella found in Portugal. Blooms begin in mid summer and continue to fall depending on your climate. The dainty 1 inch flowers are a very pale blue and a mature vine can have hundreds open at once! Species Clematis. Portugal, 1820.
