Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bees Jubilee boasts a lovely 6 to 7 inch flower. The sepals are mauve on the margin and brilliant pinkish red down the center bar to the white and maroon stamen. The wavy outer edges of the sepals give this flower a lacy elegance. Bees Jubilee is a compact plant that is suited for containers. It makes an excellent cut flower and the seedheads are beautiful too! Blooms in late spring and again in mid summer. (Bees, England 1958)
