This charming southeast native grows as a light 6-8' clamberer producing lighty-fragrant, wonderful lavender cups with curled up white edges from spring into autumn, this vine will die back to the ground in cold-winters, mulching is helpful. S-PSh/M
A Brushwood favorite, C. crispa hails from the eastern US. Its dainty blue-purple bells are borne steadily throughout summer on a compact plant. Our selection boasts long stems (an excellent cut!), larger flowers and a striking white interior. Unique and elegant and a fantastic cut flower! US Native.
Native to the southern states, this lovely deciduous climber or scramble, to 6-10 ft tall, produces lovely, bell-shaped, summer flowers with petals that flare at the bottom, Very elegant and slightly fragrant as well, though not particularly abundant. Seed heads are also attractive. Sun to part shade and consistently moist soils out of direct sun as for all clematis. Prune back in early spring to strong buds just above the ground. Frost hardy in USDA zone 4.
