Carex stricta is an evergreen aquatic grass (or grassy in appearance) with green foliage. In spring and summer flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Attracts birds, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture water. Does well in rich soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
