Prolific brilliant-white flowers welcome spring. Masses of showy rich blue berries make this rounded give this cultivar its 'Blue Muffin' name (another dentatum variety is required for pollination). Reduced from its larger size to a wonderful compact 5-7' shrub. This fabulous deer resistant shrub is perfect for low hedge/foundation. The berries are adored by songbirds. S-PSh/M
Deciduous, compact, rounded shrub. White flower clusters appear in late May to early June. These turn into small blue berries that mature by late summer. Dark green foliage turns shades of yellow to orange, and red to purple in the fall. Should be pruned, if needed, in the fall. Good choice for hedges, shrub borders, or groupings. Cultivar name is 'Christom' and Blue Muffin is the trademark name. Growth Rate medium
There is a plethera of dentatums all with a good display of blue berries, blue muffin I think is one of the best.
White flowers summer, blue berries fall, orange-red fall color. Deer resistant, birds like fruit, needs pollinator. Zones 3-8.
An exciting new compact selection of Arrowwood Viburnum! The perfect sized plant for residential landscapes. Loads of white spring flowers & an impressive display of rich blue berries. Makes a great, low hedge or foundations plant. Good container plant. Attracts songbirds. One of the most functional Viburnums. The species is 6-9' tall, so petite (at 3-5' tall) Blue Muffin is a much more pleasing size for most gardens. A good pollinator for 'Synnestvedt' (CHICAGO LUSTRE®) above to get copious fruit. PPAF
