Deciduous, compact, rounded shrub. White flower clusters appear in late May to early June. These turn into small blue berries that mature by late summer. Dark green foliage turns shades of yellow to orange, and red to purple in the fall. Should be pruned, if needed, in the fall. Good choice for hedges, shrub borders, or groupings.
