A sturdy, spreading form of Scots pine, this low selection has dark green needles with a silver or blue cast. It makes an effective groundcover and will conform to the dimensions of a slope or a retaining wall. Tough and adaptable, it likes dry to average

Not to be confused with other weeping scotch pines, this variety grows flat on the ground and is commonly used as a ground cover. The bluish green needles are very attractive and hold their color year round.
Spreading and hugging the ground this low form of Scots pine, with its dark green needles, works well on slopes or over retaining walls. A tough pine that will take drought when established. Though I've only listed the size we have that will fit in a box, we also have specimens ranging from 4-5 feet wide clear up to 10 feet. The picture depicts one of these.
