Silvery-blue needles on this dense, pyramidal dwarf are slightly curved. Produces many cones at a fairly young age, as well, giving a colorful display in early- to mid-spring.
Dating back to 1890 and named for its place of origin it is Similar to brevifolia. This is popular with the bonsai crowd.
DWARF. Very similar to 'Brevifolia', slow growing, blue needled with a white accent. This variety will evoke the shrines of its namesake, Miyajima, Japan. One of the best P. parvifloras, and that is saying a lot!! Truly a treasure.
