Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Medium-sized grapes of excellent flavor in large compact clusters: considered one of the best all-around eastern white seedless grapes... with good reason!; 4-10' x 6-8' vine, ripens 10 days before Concord. S/M
This is sort of a long story but here goes: maybe 8 years ago I heard about this great new grape intro from Cornell (therefore hardy), but I needed a license to grow it. I got the license but never could get cuttings to get started. My neighbor nursery (a much larger enterprise) got some cuttings but kept losing them but finally got some planted out and I tasted the fruit for the first time this year. It was, in fact, the best flavored grape I have ever eaten (medium to large golden brown when ripe) but it has some problems. First it is stuck to its stemlet like glue and once you get it off, it is best not to pop the whole thing in your mouth as the hull is bitter and thick. Personally I prefer the grapes that I squeeze into my mouth and discard the hull anyway so the only drawback was that I needed a crowbar to dislodge the grape from the little doodily.
