    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A superb small tree grown for its plentiful early spring blooms, this delightful British cultivar of the much-loved Japanese Apricot has spice-scented, deep-rose, double flowers with particularly long stamens and pretty red calyces; this lovely 15-20' cultivar makes a wonderful specimen or a dramatic planting when grouped.
