An interesting Mulberry which was selected in North Carolina when the state was part of the thriving silk industry, this cultivar is better suited to the heat and humidity of the southeast, yet it has the same wonderful dark, sweet, 1 ½" fruit as Illinois Everbearing; moderate growth to 40' and beautiful rich-green foliage; a wonderfully adaptable tree, but avoiding planting near pavement as it can be messy.
