Pioneer Cornelian Cherry Dogwood is a broadleaf deciduous tree with green foliage. In spring and winter yellow flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Attracts bees and birds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in acidic, average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

Cornus mas are at the top of our list for edible landscaping with their gorgeous early-spring bright yellow flowers and glossy fruit.
