Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Outstanding early spring foliage, gold with orange-red margins, makes this medium size Japanese maple a fine accent in the landscape. Lobes of the deeply toothed, small leaves reach out on different planes and give the tree an irregular, feathery appearan
The spectacular orange of this vigorous upright 12-18' tree makes a show early in spring (it?s one of the 1st to leaf out) and again in autumn; wonderful accent for border, hedge or specimen. S-PSh/M
Ueno Yama Japanese Maple is an upright maple similar to Katsura with its brilliant orange foliage in the spring. The red tinged leaves emerge earlier than most other maples. The leaves of Ueno Yama Japanese Maple change to green for the summer, ending with a spectacular flourish of yellow, orange and red in the fall.
The foliage of this delicate Maple emerges solid red and matures to rich green with a definite red edge. A beautiful selection and an Almost Eden exclusive introduction!
Very similar to Katsura (orange in spring and fall) only better--a little more vigorous and less temperamental. Zone 5.
