A fairly slow-growing maple with beautiful pink-orange spring color. By summer, leaves are a dark-green color, giving the dense growth of this tree a very handsome look.
Goshiki Kotohime Japanese Maple is small but packs a big punch. This dwarf variety of Japanese maple is excellent for small gardens, containers, and rock gardens and can even be used for bonsai. Goshiki Kotohine Japanese Maple has ruffled green leaves with specks of pink and creams and a stunning gold in the fall.
The tiny, 5-lobed leaves (some less than 1"!) of this beautiful dwarf (to 3') are variegated during spring with minute and variable specks of white, cream, pink and red... ?quite brilliant? (Vertrees); rare and choice. S-PSh/M

Acer palmatum 'Goshiki kotohime' - A dwarf variegated form of Japanese Maple. Plant is like 'Kotohime' with a dwarf v-shape and compressed upright stems. All new growth on ends of stems have pink and white leaves that are quite congested. These are from cuttings not grafted - Great for bonsai.
Dwarf Group -variegated? This is variegated form of Kotohime Japanese Maple, and it every bit as excellent as its sister. Very tiny leaves have variegation ranging from mostly speckled in creamy white to mostly or all green. Variegation fades as summer progresses. The effect is strongest in spring when leaves emerge and bright pink colors are added to the mix. This tree is very dwarf rarely growing much more than waist high.
