Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A very slow grower to perhaps 6'-8'x3' in many years. The leaves are deep shiny green all summer and are very tightly packed creating a full dense canopy. This Japanese cultivar originated before 1900, but is still rare because of its slow growth.
Its name "Dwarf Prince" (as translated from Japanese) describes this very compact (to only 5't x 3'w) upright maple with its small glossy leaves and glorious orange-yellow fall color. S-PSh/M
Dark, glossy green leaves are layered symmetrically on the stout branches of this compact cultivar. Fall colors of yellow and orange add additional interest before winter.
This is a lovely very small dwarf; the leaves are short, broad, thick, and dark green. Like all buergeranums, this one resists propagation so I have very few. To zone 6.
