Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Chiang Mai Princess is an astonishingly beautiful bright red flowered zingiber with very unusual sharply pointed bracts. These bracts (flowers) are 6 inches tall on 12 inch stems. They begin colored green but soon turn to a glorious red. The foliage has a beautiful silvery cast on most plants but some also appear as bright green. The name refers to the lemon scent of the flowers. This is a "must have" for the Ginger lover.
