Nursery contributed plant descriptions

I know I'm crazy about most Heliconias but Black Cherry really is my favorite psittacorum cultivar. Its a small plant with the prettiest deep red bracts with lime green sepals with dark tips. It blooms year around and in group plantings or large pots the clusters of blooms with the combination of red and lime green are just irresistible to stare at. It does well in partial to full sun. Try it you'll like it.
