Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Densiflora is a beautiful little heliconia that only grows to about 2-3 feet. It blooms all year long, producing intense red bracts shading to a deep orange. The sepals are orange shading to yellow at the base with pretty green tips. The prolific number of blooms create waves of brilliant color in the garden but also make an impressive display in a nice size container. This is a favorite here at the nursery and will be for you as well. We produced a good number of these after trialing them last year.
