Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is a medium sized pendant Heliconia with spectacular deep red bracts with yellow sepals. The seeds form in the bract, first yellow then blue, creating a beautiful contrasting display all their own. It grows to around 6' in a container and about 8' in a bed. It prefers partial shade to partial sun. The foliage has heavy white powder and even has powder frosting on the upper red bracts. A must have for Heliconia lovers.
