Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Emerald Chalise is a small Costus growing to around 3 feet, making it perfect for container culture. The stems have cupped ligules so the stout stems look like they have pale green cups stacked one on top of the other. The loosely held cone shaped bracts are brilliant red with long yellow tubed shape flowers with red lips. It's the total package and sells out quickly.
