Costus dubius is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In summer white flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Costus dubius is a pretty African species not often seen for sale. It grows to about 4 feet and produces green cone shaped bracts with bright white flowers and yellow lips. Mature plants produce large numbers of bracts and each bracts produces large numbers of flowers making a very dramatic display. These are small seedlings from collected seed.
