This clumping bamboo is commonly referred to as "Blue Bamboo". A smaller version of Bambusa chungii, Bambusa chungii 'Barbellata' culms are also covered in a heavy white powder giving them a light "blue" appearance. We find this variety to be more vigorous than Chungii and just as pretty.
