Nursery contributed plant descriptions

English Musk. Soft pink touched with apricot. Approximately 70 petals. Repeat flowering. This is a particularly robust and healthy rose with arching branches, creating a most attractive rouned shrub well covered in blooms. The very rain-resistant flowers are soft pink at first, opening to reveal blush petals touched with apricot. They are of medium size, perfectly rosette shaped and distinctly quartered. Wildeve has many of the features of a good ground cover rose, combined with all the quality of flower of an English Rose. A useful rose for a less than perfect position, although it is well worth something better. Likely to have a good winter hardiness. It has a pleasing, fresh fragrance of medium strength. Wildeve was a character in Thomas Hardy's novel 'The Return of the Native'. Height 3.5 ft. x 3.5 ft. (David Austin 2003, Ausbonny). Medium sized, rosette-shaped flowers. 70 petals.
