Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Old Rose Hybrid. Medium rose pink. Approximately 140 petals. Repeat flowering. This rose represents an imprortant new breakthrough in English Roses. It forms a bushy shrub bearing charming, medium sized, typically Old Rose flowers of light to medium rose pink. It is, so far as we know, completely disease resistant. It starts to flower very early in the season and, is hardly ever without flowers through the end of the season. An excellent variety to place towards the front of the border. Tough and hardy and indeed better in cooler climates. it has a strong, Old Rose fragrance. We have named this rose after one of the very early ships that first transported pilgrims to America. Height 4 ft. x 3 ft. (David Austin 2001, Austilly). Medium flowers. 140 petals.
