English Musk. Soft glowing pink paling to very soft pink at the edges. Approximately 55 petals. Repeat flowering. A rose of delicate charm - its flowers being beautifully formed. Their color is a soft glowing pink at the center, shading to palest pink on the outer petals. When the petals open they expose numerous stamens, providing an almost water lily-like effect. A strong growing variety that will quickly make a large rounded shrub with arching stems or quitea substantial climber. It is highly disease resistant. A delicious fragrance with aspects of Old Rose, musk and myrrh. 'The Generous Gardener' has been named to mark seventy-fifth anniversary of the National Gardens Scheme. height 5 ft. x 4 ft. or 8-10 ft. as a climber. (David Austin 2002, Ausdrawn). 55 petals.
